When creating the level, I paid particular attention to framing and light.
Players spawn on a hilltop with a good view over the level. Without movint the mouse, they have a view over the air base, the front gate, the antenna, gas station and warehouse, as well as a sign pointing players to follow the path leading towards the latter destination. Just by looking in that directions, players can see the flickering light illuminating the zipline they can use to get to the warehouse and antenna quickly.
The buildings that players can enter have lights turned on and danger spots, such as the guard booth and machine gun towers have red tinted lights. The hills on the sun side of the level have been crafted specifically to allow light to illuminate the more vital parts of the map.
When players get behind the wheel of the cars at the petrol station, guards, signs and fences guide them towards the front gate of the air base.
